The Portfolio Financial Specialist for Resilience and Growth Division has the responsibility to oversee a number of project and proposals in the division. The position is responsible for: (1) managing multiple cost extension/modification and new proposals in accordance with best practices to the unique needs of each bid; (2) monitoring financial performance of projects within the portfolio; and (3) actively contributing to the corporate annual budget process. S/he articulates Tanager’s projects and organizational impact in the context of global frameworks, such as the Sustainable Development Goals, and donor/client frameworks to effectively communicate Tanager’s impact with different audiences. At a project level, s/he supports country offices to develop and implement their monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks, as well as works closely with Tanager staff & leadership and ACDI/VOCA counterparts, to ensure successful planning, design, and implementation of MEL databases.

We are looking for a dynamic Specialist in Inclusive Market systems approaches, with excellent analytical, writing and communication skills to join the Market and Food Systems team within ACDI/VOCA’s Technical Learning and Application Department. This person will promote and provide technical guidance on ACDI/VOCA’s inclusive market systems approach to private sector and agriculture development. The approach emphasizes designing for deep-rooted change in the underlying systems that drive market outcomes; facilitation-based, stakeholder-led approaches to implementation, and custom MEL and management systems to enhance learning and adaptation. The Market Systems Specialist will report to Senior Technical Director, Market Systems. Duties and responsibilities will fall under three operational categories: project-level technical support, services and advisory (approximately 40%), new business development and design (approximately 40%), and organization-wide learning, tool development, and other related initiatives (approximately 20%).

Together, we are ushering in an era of equitable market systems that combine profitability with the power to address urgent challenges in poverty, malnutrition and gender inequity.   The Director of Compliance and Operations is a senior member of the Tanager management team. The Director will serve as a subject matter expert on a range of issues (compliance, procurement, operations, risk management) and provide strategic and operational guidance on full project life cycle compliance needs, from partnership arrangements, non-disclosure agreements, human resources, and procurement to asset disposition and project close out. The Director will co-lead with the Accounting & Systems Director the design and roll-out of standardized project and corporate-level policies, procedures and systems. Operating in a matrixed environment, the Director of Compliance and Operations will work directly with headquarters and country-based colleagues, as well as liaising with clients, donors, partners and subawardees on contractual matters. The Director will report to the Tanager President.
